Its unique feature of simultaneously engaging legs, core, arms, and shoulders in one smooth motion offers various workout options to enhance strength and endurance. Concept2 simulators are known for their quality, durability, and easy maintenance.
To ensure long and reliable operation of the device, we recommend following these guidelines:
• After each use, wipe down handles and the simulator with a damp cloth and disinfectant
• Loosen or unscrew the pull cords (when gripping handles, you might accidentally turn the handle and subsequently the cord. Wound cords do not allow smooth pulling and wear out faster)
• After approximately 50 hours of use or once a year, check for cord wear. If the cord is frayed, replace it as soon as possible.
• Regularly inspect all screws on the simulator and stand and tighten as needed. Also, check the screws attaching the simulator to the wall periodically.
• Ensure that the cords slide smoothly and the guides rotate freely.
• If the simulator no longer provides proper resistance, open and clean the spiral damper and flywheel. We recommend cleaning at least once a year.
• 2 years warranty on all moving parts (rollers, bearings) of the simulator and monitor (excluding monitor batteries)
• 5-year warranty on the frame or individual frame parts
A New Type of Workout
Movement during cross-country skiing and on the SkiErg is unique because it requires constant activation of the entire body. Besides improving overall fitness, this workout effectively strengthens the shoulders, core, glutes, and thigh muscles in ways that other cardio exercises can't match.
Flexible
The SkiErg gently puts less strain on your knees and ankles during exercise. It's also suitable and easy for individuals with lower limb injuries: injured athletes can sit or kneel while working out, still engaging the upper body and core. It's an excellent device for training athletes with disabilities, as in combination with a wide stand, it accommodates most wheelchair users.
Does not occupy space, easy to move
The SkiErg can be mounted on the wall, occupying very little space. Mounting it on a mobile stand allows for easy movement around the room or discreet storage.
PM5 Monitor
The PM5 monitor provides precise tracking of various workout parameters such as time, speed, power, calories burned, and distance covered. You can save and compare your results with other PM5 users. Choose from pre-set workouts or create and save your own.
ERG Data and Other Compatible Apps
ErgData is a free app that connects the PM monitor to iOS and Android devices. It allows you to record and store all your workouts in your Concept2 LogBook account and compare with selected training partners. Additionally, the app supports group workouts in 'Remote' mode via Real Time Loop, access to 'C2 Workout of the Day,' live progress monitoring, and analysis.
